DESCRIPTION:Macroscopy is a critical aspect of histopathology reporting tha
 t has generally received less attention than microscopy and is not uncommo
 nly delegated to less experienced practitioners with limited guidance and 
 supervision. A symposium discussing issues around macroscopic specimen exa
 mination was published in the March 2024 issue of the&nbsp\;Journal of Cli
 nical Pathology&nbsp\;(2024\;77:169-203).
