The BAUP AGM with the EQA together with a symposium on Urological pathology will be held at the Royal College of Pathologists (6 Alie Street, London, E1 8QT) on 24th November 2023.
BAUP is again delighted to welcome Dr Jonathan Epstein (USA) and Prof Arno van Leenders (The Netherlands).
Dr Jonathan Epstein, Professor of Pathology, John Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore, USA, will talk on 'Prostate Cancer Grading: From Gleason to a Contemporary Patient-Centric System'
Professor Arno van Leenders, Professor of Urological Pathology, Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, will talk on 'Intra-operative assessment of surgical margins at radical prostatectomy'
The visitors will also discuss educaional cases.
In additon there are talks on 'The clinical utility of pathology biopsy details in individualised counselling of men with a new prostate cancer diagnosis using modern prognostic models' and 'AI in Prostate Pathology'

Professor Bremmer has made major contributions to the biology and classification of testicular tumours and will speak onthe recent the WHO Classification of testicular germ cell tumours.
Professor Dan Berney will be speaking of risk factors in testicular tumours
I addition are talks on streamlining MDTs and cautionary tales on the introduction of digital pathology
In the afternoon there is a discussion educational cases (previously circulated) and the full EQA meeting
